Three high-altitude lakes are reachable by short hikes from a cable car or train station, and the lakes themselves have no entrance fee. Getting there is the cost: the Oeschinensee gondola runs CHF 36-40 round trip, Bachalpsee via the Grindelwald-First cable car CHF 40+. Hinterer Geltensee is reachable on foot for free.
