Snowshoe through the quiet forest above Lauterbrunnen, then sit down to a Swiss cheese fondue at Sulwald before riding back down. Your morning starts with a short drive from Interlaken to Isenfluh, where a small red vintage cable car carries you up to Sulwald. At the top, strap on your snowshoes and follow your local guide on an easy, marked loop through snowy forest and open meadows, with views towards the Jungfrau region. After the walk, warm up with a creamy cheese fondue and a drink at Sulwald, then ride the cable car back down to Isenfluh and drive back to Interlaken. An easy winter morning for first-timers and families with children from 10, far from the busy resorts.

- Warm winter clothing, including gloves, ski pants, a jacket and a beanie - Waterproof shoes or winter boots (essential for snow and cold) - Sunglasses - Sunscreen - Camera or smartphone for photos * Winter jackets, pants and gloves may be rented as a full set for CHF 5. Rental is subject to availability and must be requested in advance by email.

- This experience takes place in Isenfluh and Sulwald, a quiet corner above the Lauterbrunnen valley, far from the big ski resorts - The snowshoe loop is easy and relaxed, suitable even for first-time snowshoers - The fondue is served up at Sulwald, right after the walk, before you ride back down - The small red cabin of the Isenfluh cable car carries eight people or one cow, and has run since 1975 - Some dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice (not all requests can be guaranteed)

If you have not heard from us, it means we are still planning to run your trip as scheduled, or we have not yet made a final decision based on the forecast. Cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before trip time to be eligible for a refund.
