Sled a snowy forest run at sunset above Lauterbrunnen, then share a Swiss cheese fondue back in Interlaken. Eight guests at most, no sledding experience needed. Never skied before? Come sledding with us. A cable car lifts you above the Lauterbrunnen valley, face to face with the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. The light turns gold, the summits blush pink, and you glide down through the forest with a smile you can't switch off. Halfway down, a cup of hot mulled wine. At the bottom, a warm table in Interlaken and a pot of melted Swiss cheese to share. Eight guests at most, one local guide, and an evening you will talk about for a long time.

Snowshoe through the quiet forest above Lauterbrunnen, then sit down to a Swiss cheese fondue at Sulwald before riding back down. Your morning starts with a short drive from Interlaken to Isenfluh, where a small red vintage cable car carries you up to Sulwald. At the top, strap on your snowshoes and follow your local guide on an easy, marked loop through snowy forest and open meadows, with views towards the Jungfrau region. After the walk, warm up with a creamy cheese fondue and a drink at Sulwald, then ride the cable car back down to Isenfluh and drive back to Interlaken. An easy winter morning for first-timers and families with children from 10, far from the busy resorts.

Two lakes, one valley, and the Jungfrau at the end of it. Most visitors see Interlaken from a train window on the way to somewhere else.
We live here all year. Snowshoeing and fondue nights in winter, alpine tastings and sunrise hikes in summer, always in small groups.
WHO TAKES YOU OUT
Four of us, from four countries, who came for a season and stayed. We know what it's like to arrive here knowing nobody, which is half the reason we're good at this.
