Olivia grew up in the mountains. Not these ones; but mountains teach you the same things wherever you are: patience, and how to be uncomfortable in a good way.

"The best way to understand a place is to move through it slowly, talk to the people who live there, and say yes to things you're not sure about. That's been my approach to travel. It's also my approach to marketing."

She handles marketing for Swiss Local Adventures; not from behind a desk, but from the field. Every trail she walks, every tour she joins becomes material. She has a marketing degree and a long list of countries behind her, and she brings both to everything she builds for the company.

Off the clock, she skis, hikes, and is reliably the first to say yes when someone suggests something new.
